I posted his dope mixtape towards the back end of ’09. If you didn’t get it then, quit sleeping on this dude and get it now. I posted his debut single in April which has since gone onto reach nearly 2,000 downloads on the site and land at #6 upon the Billboard Top 100.

That’s impressive shit for a debut.

His next single “Please Don’t Go” is reportedly gonna do more damage on the charts when it hits iTunes. His debut album is out August 10. Cop that.

I definitely will be.

I was put on Mike Posner a while ago and I have been bumping that “One Foot Out The Door” mixtape for a good while now. Seriously, if you havent educated yourself on this dude. Do so!

It’s worth it.

There was a track on his first mixtape which featured G.O.O.D Musics own Big Sean entitled “Cooler Than Me.” Theres no questions, that this was a dope joint and featured a fresh 16 by Sean. However, the following mixtape “One Foot Out the Door” had a remix of this by Gigamesh who dropped the Sean verse and exchanged it for a harder bassline and more refreshing synths.

The end result: 10x better.

I saw that Gigamesh had dropped the final and mastered version of the track not too long ago. However on listening to the track earlier on today, I kinda think that the the original remix of “Cooler Than Me” is better than the final version.

I’d love your opinion on this cos I can’t make my mind up. Here’s all three tracks in the order they hit the internets. Have a listen and leave a comment.

Thats not important though. Whilst watchin the video, I was kinda drawn to the main girl in it. After a bit of digging, I found out who she was.

First up, I’d like to say props for DJ Semtex for this one. I was browsing his blog and I realised he posted this new mixtape from a dude I’d never heard of before. Now usually, I’d look past things like this but for some reason I stopped and paid attention to this one.

I’m glad I did. I was really impressed with this. Having never heard any material from the dude before, I was instantly hooked to his slow chilled raps and melodies. I also noticed features from Cudi, Big Sean, Bun B & Clinton Sparks which suggests this guy has some potential in the future. Highly recommend this to everyone and particularly everyone to check out Track 4 and the ‘Dont Trust Me Remix).
