I suppose I’d better post a blog post seeing as Cos has been filling in for me a lot. The weather has also been lovely the past couple of days which has been a turn up. Hottest day of the year on Friday and I could get away without wearing a jacket most of the day.

Anyway first up is a remix of Lily Allen’s “The Fear.” The remix is the “Automatic Panic vs DJ Cat NYC Remix” and I personally really like it. The distortion and beats are all good and I like the heavy drum beat.  You can check that out at the bottom of the post. Another British artist, who I have been a fan of for a while now, is Kid British. One of my first posts on here was about them and I still maintain they are a quality band. If you watched Soccer AM you would have heard the song “Sunny Days” on some goals – and again I’m a fan. You can hear a snippet of the song on the band’s MySpace.

Next track is just a new song from Dizzee Rascal. It’s not as mainstream as his previous efforts and is grimeier (I had “more grimey” but Word reckons that is better). It was previewed on Semtex’s show on BBC 1Xtra the other day and sounds like a good tune, if you like grime. It’ll be released in August with an album surely to follow in autumn. I like Dizzee Rascal personally, Flex was a great song. Still I can see a few people liking this and the majority hating this sort of stuff. Personal preference I suppose, I’m not really swayed either way.
