If you haven’t heard about this band yet you really should. They were nominated for Merucry Music Prize earlier this year and should become even bigger in 2010.
The Invisible’s debut LP has today been named ‘Best Album of 2009’ by iTunes. The South London trio’s eponymous album has been selected by the iTunes UK editorial team ahead of the several thousands of records released via the digital music shop this year.
The accolade rounds off a stella year for The Invisible which has included a Mercury Music Prize nomination, multiple shows across the UK and Europe and seen them share stages with Doves, Foals, Michachu & The Shapes, Hot Chip and others.
The Invisible have three remaining London shows – see details below – before heading back in to the studio to begin work on a second album.
Thu, 10th Dec – Hoxton Bar & Kitchen
