Two Door Cinema Club released their album yesterday and I’ve got my copy, it’s fantastic. My favourite song off it has to be ‘Come Back Home’ – I’m absolutely in love with the track and it comes very close to the original ‘Undercover Martyn’ in terms of energy and enjoyability. Anyway as literally everybody on my Facebook begins to jump on the bandwagon, a couple of fresh tracks have surfaced, both of which I really enjoyed.
The first track is called ‘Kids’ and is off the Japanese release of Tourist History. It’s a great track, probably would have been one of my favourite off the album if it was on there. The drum machine combined with the catchy guitars combine to form a very good track with some nice lyrics. Very nice ending as well, and for me it just fits that last track niché a bit better than ‘You’re Not Stubborn.’ Check it out below.

The other track I saw on Stereogum the other day and listened to the Passion pit remix of ‘Undercover Martyn’ and I really enjoyed it. The synths fitted brilliantly with the vocals and the drum machine added an slight retro feel to the track which I really liked. It’s a really neat instrumental, however I don’t think they could improve on the original. Passion pit have done very well though – the remix is very original unlike a lot now days. Check it out below.
