Good Morning! - Wavy1photo: Wavy1

I’ve been meaning to get some serious posting done for a while now but i’ve been rather busy of late. I’ve dropped a few vids in the QuickSound bit but i’ll try get at least one or two longer posts done for you in the next week or so.

Right, let’s get the ball rolling with the new remix from non other than Emalkay. Having already dropped some of the biggest tunes this year with the likes of When I Look At You probably being the biggest, this seems like a brilliant end to 2009 for the Birmingham-born dubstep producer. The track entitled Sun To Me is a precursor to the full return of Faithless next year, according to GetDarker. There’s something about Faithless which just makes you like them, their comeback should be good. The track was dropped free in 320 so enjoy..

Next up it’s TTS favourite Joker. By now i shouldn’t really have to tell you what he’s all about as he has been frequently dropping some of the biggest tracks of the year. Lately, he’s released a few remixes like the brilliant Trouble Is and Radiates but we haven’t really seen any of his own tracks for a while, until now. His latest 12″ – City Hopper / Output 1-2 dropped the other day with the digital release expected in about 9 days. I know there’s a lot of hype around him but i honestly think he deserves all the credit he gets. From his copious amounts of purple synth to his sub-loaded kicks, he’s got it all.  I meant to post the Radiates remix he threw on his twitter not so long ago but i’ll link you now as a bonus. Keep a look out for his new album in the new year…

City Hopper / Output 1-2 is available to download on December 21st.

Moving on to a bit of Drum & Bass now with the highly rated Belgium-born producer Netsky. His latest track, I Refuse is the a-side of his latest release ‘I Refuse / Midnight Express’ which you can find exclusively on Beatport. The track itself has all the elements you’d expect but it’s the piano and vocals that make it for me. It’s not the hardest drum & bass track you’ll find out there but it’s definitely one of the best ones i’ve heard recently. Make sure you check it out and keep an eye out for more of his work here in the near future.

To finish off with i’ve got the new video of Plan B’s – Stay Too Long. I stated in one of my previous posts that he’s completely changed his sound but tbf i quite like it so i’m not really bothered. Oh and is that Effy from Skins in the vid? Whoever she is, she’s hot…
