I was doing some random research for some new material by dance-king Diplo after his work on the Major Lazer album was just immense. I stumbled across this gem of a remix of a Santogold Santigold track which I’ve actually fallen in love with. I actually dont know if it is old or new, but its a tune nonetheless. Get this ..

I’ve always thought that girl bands are only successful because of their commercial value. I mean, barring Destinys Child, there have not been many examples of good girl bands that can actually sing well together without the aid of extensive studio enhancing equipment in the past decade or so. This relatively new girlband, Richgirl, aim to rectify that and challenge the likes of Pussycat Dolls etc. to pop stardom. Their debut single isnt bad either tbh. Kinda old but definitely worth a DL.

Finally, two legends in the music industry, The Roots and Erykah Badu have come together to produce a cover of possibly the biggest legend of them all; the late Michael Jackson. Nothing more needs to be said. Badu nails it. Roots do their thang.
