Poke Her Face

Not an example of domestic violence but a new song by Lady Gaga. Poker Face, produced by RedOne who also produced Just Dance for the album, has a very similar sound to the first release. The heavy synthesiser intro, the well sung chorus and just a general catchyness which will leave you signing the song all day.

Lady Gaga has had a lot of success with her first single, Just Dance. The song is currently at number 3 in the UK, and is currently topping the iTunes Chart surely sealing its place at number 1 for next week. The song is fairing similarly in the US where it has reached number 2, despite its initial release 9 months prior to this time. Its really begs the question why the song took so long to take off. Signed to Akon’s KonLive label there would have been a lot of opportunities for promotion and with such a catchy hook sung by GaGa and verse by Colby O’Donis, the song made for radio airplay.

Poker Face looks set to rule out any chance of Lady Gaga becoming a one hit wonder, but as well as the good song some excellent remixes have also been made by some fairly well known producers. You can check them out below as well as the original song. I urge people to buy this once Just Dance has run its course to give Lady Gaga the deserved success she deserves.
