Ages ago now, a tune by DJ Sharam surfaced called ‘She Came Along’ featuring none other than KiD CuDi himself. I thought it was good, infact it was okay; Nothing overly amazing, abit meh. It got quickly dismissed by me, rarely listened to it. Apparently though, this song is having some sort of mini revival and is being re-invented as a potential british-summertime hit. Tbh, I really cant see that happening; it just doesn’t seem like that kind of upbeat song. However, the new version has added a bit of a dubsteppy, electro-ey kinda bassline and CuDi sounds pretty better on it too.

Cast your mind back to like a month ago, when the buzz surrounding Relapse was rife and everyone was salivating at the imminent release of the long awaited album. One of, if not the most controversial tracks on there, Bagpipes from Baghdad, had a few tasty lines about a certain miss Mariah Carey. Now remember this, Nick Cannon’s rant? Yeah, that spewed as a result of his distaste for the track and his distaste at Eminem ripping the piss out of his wife. Well, surprisingly, that has since been removed from Cannon’s blog (probably due to the abuse he got from it) anddddd, Carey herself has released a tune, reportedly off her new album hitting back at the legendary rapper.

Not a good move in my opinion, Eminem will slew both Cannon and Carey in his sleep.

Finally, finish with a bit of funky house. Lil Silva, an 18 year old producer has been making some headlines lately with his funky beats tearing up clubs and raves all over the shop. He has recently mixed two grime classics together to produce 6minutes of straight fire. I love this actually, no vocals, just a bangin’ beat. Pump up the volume!
