I’ve been jumping on Twitter lately. I don’t know why it has taken me so long because it’s actually a pretty good source of new music but hey, follow me here and I’ll try and get back to ya.

Continuing with my Twitter themed post, my favourite R&B artist at the moment, Trey Songz tweeted that he will release two songs every monday until his new album drops in August. Yesterday, he kicked-off his ‘MOnday-Music-Giveaway’ with him going hard at R. Kelly over Hova’s new D.O.A. tune. Did not expect this at all, he literally just attacks him for three minutes straight. I’m not quite sure sending for R. Kelly is a wise move but it will be interesting to see how this pans out. Give it a listen though, its some good shit!

Y’all know I love Drake. Everyone seems to be jumping on So Far Gone right now and there are rumours his first studio album ‘Thank Me Later’ dropping early next year is subject to some major label offers. Best I Ever Had is being released for digitial download soon and that is also rumoured to go straight to numero uno in the States so things are looking gurrrd for him at the moment. A song with him and Trey Songz himself has surfaced recently and it’s been in my head all day. These two suit each other on a track; ‘Successful’ and ‘Replacement Girl’ are sick and this one is no different.

Finally, this tune premiered on MistaJam’s 1XTRA show in May sometime and received a fairly good response. UK grime artist Giggs; most notably famous for his BIG ‘Talking the Hardest’ freestyle has teamed up with Mike Skinner and they have both made this track called ‘Slow Songs.’ Giggs is another with a wank image commercially but this guy can spit. Look out for him in the future.
