We’ve got sent some stuff over the past couple of weeks that I’m really behind on posting, which I’m sorry for. I should make more of an effort to post the music as it comes into us but it’s been a busy couple of weeks at college.

First track is called “Stardust” and is by Alexipharmic featuring P.O.S., Grynch, Cas One and Sarah Smalley. The production and rapping on this are very good and I personally enjoy the song. The only slight down side I have is on the vocals in the chorus. They’re just a little quiet in comparison with the rapping, which is something which can be easily fixed. Still it’s a good song from some promising artists. Also 50% of all sales of his record are going to charity, as are the proceeds of his upcoming tour. You have to respect someone like that.

Next are a couple of electro tracks. First one is from American producers Deux Helix. The song is called “Psychosis” and sounds pretty raw. The thumping baseline and synth remind me a little of Chewy Chocolate Cookies. I recommend you check out their MySpace as their range is pretty good and I really like some of their other songs off of it which have a more polished feel.

The other electro song is from Aussie group Surprise Junkies and is called “Illogical.” It has a good synth & baseline and the whole song flows really well. I don’t know if the sounds are sampled but they’re used to good effect and the whole song sounds well done. It’s off their upcoming EP so be sure to check it out as it should be good based on this.

Lastly is a remix from Spanish DJ Buffetlibre and I really, really like this. The remix is of Patrick Wolf’s “Who Will” and I think that Buffetlibre has worked really well with the slow, deep vocals that Patrick Wolf has. The vocal manipulation is very good and the fast synth and drum beats sound great. I recommend this highly.
