Well I’d thought ‘Day N Nite’ and all the remixes/versions that went with it were long gone but apparently not. Favourite rapper of mine K’naan has done a version called ‘Dayless Nite’ and raps about pirates and other such matters. Nothing amazing but more about the lyrics than the song I feel. And it sounds like he has a cold haha.

Santigold (yes, we all preferred Santogold) has also had a new track leaked called ‘Anne’s Plan’ and features good friend of Mr Cudi, Chip Tha Ripper. Not a bad track, nothing as good as on her debut album though I reckon. I do like the rapping quite a bit though, impressed me more than on Cudi’s mixtape last summer.

Last Friday as well as the original ‘Remedy’ by Little Boots being played, Annie Mac also played Rusko’s remix of it. Unfortunately the radio-rip is all I’ve got but its pretty good anyway, keeps the start of the original before dropping into the dubstep.

Lastly I have a mash-up for you all. I’d say about 85% of mashups are just crap, this though is not at all. And its a surprising mix. Jason Mraz’s ‘I’m Yours’ vs the legendary Shaggy’s ‘It Wasn’t Me’. I don’t even have the original ‘I’m Yours’ but I don’t really want it either, specially not after this mash-up!
