Charles Hamilton is mixtape crazy. You’ve gotta give the guy some credit, he releases a lot of music for his fans and you better believe he keeps them satisfied. Albeit, he does get on the wrong side of some harsh criticism with his sampling choices but in at the end of the day his music is refreshing when you compare it to some of the bland material released by other artists. He released his new mixtape The Binge vol. 1 (Staring at the Lavalamp) today – you can get it here. But it doesn’t stop there.. Another track also leaked just before the mixtape, but as apposed to all the previous tracks this one is supposedly from his first album with Interscope, Perfect Life. The track’s entitled Barbara Walters and even though it isn’t that bad as a whole, i’m not too sure it’s the final version thats gonna be on his album. Here it is anyway…

Next its a long lost track with a bit of a story from Madvillain called One Beer (Drunk Version) – from Stones Throw:
‘This is the one-sided 45 from Madvillainy 2: The Box, the limited-edition Madvillain box set released last year.
DOOM originally recorded “One Beer” over a beat which had just been used by J Dilla on Jaylib’s track “No Games”. Madlib made this remix of the song, “One Beer (Drunk Version)” and burned the only copy to a CD, which then went missing in his chaotic and cluttered studio The Bomb Shelter, only to turn up years.’
If you like the whole DOOM – Madvillian sound then you’ll love this, if not then it probably won’t be for you…

Do you really believe that is true? You did an excellent job sharing your point, but I suspect you must put some more thought in this discussion and perhaps post an answer to the opposite side of this post.
